i have in the past and last night also looked at videos of this year and last year- very inspiring.! our family on a volunteer basis have been very involved with kiruv for years. for over 5 years i organize a Thursday downtown Montreal lunch time class which attracts between 6-12 people . i recruit different rabbis in the Montreal community to speak. i f anyone wants to set up such a program in their community i would beli neder be happy to speak to them. i would like to beli neder speak to the powers that be at project inspire to just in general to share what we do here and how to do more kiruv here in Montreal

The perfect Tisha B'av Message

When I came back from shul, I went to see this film, and I think this is one of the many ways we can stop the mourning. If we all reach out to someone we know that isn't religious, and in our own way, that will definitely bring the geulah much closer. We need as many Jews as possible to daven, do mitzvos so Hashem will bring Mashiach.

It won't help

Getting Jews in North America involved in frumkeit won't build the beis hamikdosh. As long as the old frum and the new frum stay in gollus, they are telling hashem that they have no interest in geulah. If you really want to build the beis hamikdosh, come home.

What makes this a Tisha Bav video

While interesting and inspiring, this video does not seem to be about the Churban or about topics that one is permitted to indulge in on Tish'a B'av. I have watched about 20 minutes of it and plan to resume the video after the fast.

I googled Tish'Bav and was brought to your site. I watched One Soul and it has touched and renewed much in me. As I read Lamentations I desire to be what I am to be in all things and this site has encouraged that shift in me. May you be blessed forever.

leadership generated attrition

Nicely done tape with inspiring self-driven individuals connecting people with Judaism. The people they capture have never been connecte before. There is also a dark underbelly of Judaism, what I like to refer to as leadership generated attrition. There are people who have dropped out based on adverse experiences. Too often those creating the negative environment then comment on the inferiority of those chased away. To my great astonishment, despite a generation of decline in Jewish participation and the need for salvage, there remains a stunning tolerance for the mistreatment of Jews, rationalized by the generals, not only by the lieutenants who engage in the leverage of the victims' feelings. Reversing sinat chinam requires not only reaching out but protecting the talent that is already in place and available to participate if treated with menschlekeit.
