Letting the At Risk do kiruv
Perhaps I'm just super naive, but I wonder if asking at risk kids to do kiruv work would not provide the new perspective they might just need. I've been imagining an initiative that partners at-risk frum kids with unaffiliated but stable adults. I wonder if having to explain frumkeit to someone else might not help answer their own questions.

Interesting take on Kiruv
I agree with a lot of what R' dovid orlofsky said especially about how kiruv helps us to appreciate Yiddishkeit. One thing though, and it was interesting because he did mention it briefly, i wish people would focus more on Kiruv Krovim, at home and within our communities. How many of us look down on people less frum than us. I really believe strongly in kiruv but at the same time, I feel like we can't forget about all those neighbors, kids' friends, etc, who were born into this life and poshut don't appreciate what they have! we can't forget about them either.
